Belated Valentine's !

It's Chinese New Years! Add two and two, and you'll find out what my post title means :) Hahaha. My family's celeberating Saturday and Sunday woot woot! Just won myself $19 in gambles and almost $50 in red pocket? Not as much as last year, but I don't need money to make me happy :D

Ah, the snow still reaches up past my knees. But me and my brother jumped the fence to get to the otherside (aka the backyard) ! He had to step on my back though while I was on my knees.. ;_; I ruined my Northface too MUAHAH!

The top one is with no flash, the bottom, flash. Aren't they pretttty? They're much brighter in reality except for the purple sadly n_n 6pairs for $8. WIN? VERY ! :D Retail therapy does wondersss. And my aunty also got me this jacket for NEXT winter u_u we aren't even out of this winter yet!

Haha, this bun bau in the making! If that's how you spell it :P....not entirely sure. Have I ever mentioned I read tarot cards? I'm a beginner, but I'm working at it. Below's a past, present, future spread that I did to answer some questions that I had

So, the past, present, future spread is divided into three piles of three cards. In this, the first three are the past, the next three the present, and the last three the future. I used this spread to ask a question about something that a dear friend of mine is going through and what I could do to help them out. For the past, we have the High Priestess, 9 of swords, and 8 of swords. Our present cards are the Temperance, 7 of swords, and 6 of wands. For the future, Queen of Wands, the Star, and 3 of wands. Let's see what they mean now, shall we?

Past (btw, this is the abbreviated version cuz I'm too lazy..)

High Priestess-Feminine in nature, with unexplored potiential

9 of swords-Feelings of anxiety, despair, oppression, and suffering

8 of swords-Withdrawal/fear

Summary: There's a female with unexplored potiential that sadly gets oppressed because of feelings of anxiety and despair and she's suffering from it. Because of this, she withdraws in fear and doesn't reach out.

Present

Temperance-Healing, patience, balance, compromise

7 of swords-The situation isn't going as expected

6 of wands-You have achieved success, or just a bit of it

Summary: The female has maybe finally reached out and gotten help. With time and talk, she has achieved success but it isn't going the way she expects.

Future

Queen of Wands-A person that lights up a room when they enter. Boundless creative energy. At best, an inspiration.

The Star-The hope card, tells us to have faith. Is always a welcome sight in any situation.

3 of wands-Initial success and moving in the right direction

Summary: The female is a bright, creative female, but has sadly been opressed (referring to the past) due to negative feelings. We are on the right track and eventually will get to the end as long as we keep hoping and have faith.

Overall Summary: The person has been oppressed in the past by negative feelings and has finally gotten help but the situation isn't going as expected. Maybe with some talk and compromise, she may achieved the first step as noted in the 3 of wands. As long as she has faith and hope, she will overtake this.

Boredom

Bleeeeeh. Boredom kills. The snow ruins any plans that could have been made! I was supposed to hang out with people but noooo. And I also had my District Chorus this week too ! Can someone say stupid snow?
I made even more snowmen shaped cookies ! YAY ! They're deeeeeeeelish. And some homemade bun bau. It's this type of viet bun I think? Not really sure...I guess if I'm bored I should read. I finished the Pendragon series a few days ago, ZOMG, its so darn GOOOOOOOD! You really can't put it down until you're finished, I know I didn't LOLOL.

Snowed In

Haha, I'm finally getting around to blogging :) Maybe its because of all the snow we have outside? Man, two snowstorms back to back! Won't be having school the whole week. I wonder how it would feel like to go back to school...it's been so long.

You can't really tell, but my brother, Steven, is standing on top of a GIANT pile of snow! My lover and I were freezing just standing there, we have no clue how he manage to roll around in the snow and not be freezing...
